Our
Philosophy Faith
Saint Rose Academy is committed
to developing the full potential of each student in mind, body, and
spirit in an academic environment that fosters trust and promotes
learning.
With reverence for God and respect
for each other, we believe that the diversity of each student strengthens
our Catholic values.
As a faith filled community, Saint
Rose Academy promotes spiritual growth through Christian love and service
to our school, our family, our community and to the world at large.
"I know well the plans I have
in mind for you, says the Lord!
Plans for your
welfare, not for woe,
Plans to give you a future
full of hope."
Jer. 29: 11
Saint Rose Academy celebrates the talents and gifts of each student
individually and collectively as the whole student body, working in
concert with faculty and administration to be a true Christian
community. It is the recognition of the potential of each student that
provides the academic environment in which the student is able to
flourish and confidently succeed in the classroom dynamics with their
peers.
The academic aim is to nurture an attitude of life long learning by
providing a curriculum that promotes a creative interaction between the
student and teacher. In doing so, Saint Rose Academy offers courses that
will interest, challenge, and develop in each student the skills necessary
to meet our ever changing world with knowledge and moral commitment.
Saint Rose Academy is a true Christian community where students are able
to witness Gospel values in their daily school experience. By
participating in activities that develop attitudes of self worth and
equality, students are able to extend themselves to making a difference in
the quality of their lives, and the lives of others.
Faith
St. Rose Academy adheres to the faith
doctrines, moral teachings, and prayer traditions of the Catholic church.
We seek not only to educate the mind, but to nurture our students'
spirituality, and inspire it with a love of service. Students of all faiths
may attend St. Rose Academy.
Our students pray every day, attend liturgy monthly, commit themselves to serving their community, and
participate in an annual retreat with their class.
